Unlike its predecessor, the X-302 is completely man built. It uses many Goa'uld components that were reverse engineered, however, they were all made from scratch, unlike the X-301 which was made from salvaged death gliders.
The X-302 is the first of its kind which has a small Hyperspace Window Generator, made possible by the Naquadria making it the first man-made ship capable of interstellar travel.
The X-303 also known as Prometheus, is equipped with dozens of X-302 fighter jets. The X-302 is as strong as a Goa'uld death glider and is made more powerful by the hyperdrive generator, which would be too big to fit into regular death gliders.
