The Tel'tak is known as both a cargo ship and a scout ship. It carries four escape pods a set of transparent rings and has a cloaking device. The ship is however unarmed, and thus are vulnerable to enemy attacks. However, some models of the Tel'tak do not have a cloak. All Tel'tak's also come with a self-destruct ability which can be used as a last resort.
