The Stromos was a escape ship used by the Talthuns when their planet was about to be destroyed. The Stromos left with two other sister ships for their new homeworld, however, mid-way the Stromos crashed into the planet P2A-347, and the power started to fail.
The Stromos is equipped with Sleeping chambers on which the crew slept, however when the ship crashed, the chief engineer woke up, and had to deal with the power failing.
However, SG1 managed to provide the chief engineer with a Naquadah generator to keep the Sleeping Chambers powered, and the Stromos's population alive.
