Not as trusting as Allina, Sanir told the Genii of Sheppard's intentions and their search for the Potentia given to the Daganians by the Ancients. The Genii used the information to try and capture Sheppard's team and take the Potentia for themselves believing it to be powerful if Sheppard's team are looking for it. When the Genii arrived, Allina was angered when she realised that Sanir had sold them out.
