The inhabitants of P4S-237 were ruled over by Lord Mott, a Goa'uld, who works in the service of Ba'al. The inhabitants of the planet had a prophecy in which strangers would come and save them from the vengeful gods, and since SG1 came, they believe they will save them from Mott, however, few of the inhabitants still believed Mott to be their god, and so they told Mott of their plans. This led to the capture of SG1, however, a female managed to rescue SG1 and helped save the planet from Lord Mott's rule, who was killed by his own servant.
