The Linvris is much sought after by the Goa'uld. The Linvris are a far worse than Goa'uld race that consisted of 9 members. However, Machello a man who has long since hated the Goa'uld managed to wipe them out using a weapon which kills the symbiote, and the host shortly follows after.
