History
Atlantis is located in the galaxy of Pegasus. It was once home to a race known as the Ancients. Atlantis was a flying city which could travel from planet to planet, and moved from the Milky Way to Pegasus. Finally they landed on the planet now called Atlantis. In the Pegasus Galaxy they met a foe which they could not beat, known as the Wraith, and Atlantis was the final city which was untouched by the Wraith. In an attempt to stop the Wraith from taking the city, they submerged the city and fled back to Earth. It lay submerged for many thousands of years, until the Atlantis expedition came from Earth, and Atlantis lost power and rose. The base being the only way back to Earth, when the Wraith learnt about Earth, they sent ships to Earth to take it over. The Atlantis crew, defended it, and managed to destroy 5 of the 15 ships that were sent, the other 10 ships left when they believe Atlantis was destroyed. The expedition managed to bring online the Shields, and use it to cloak the city of Atlantis.
