History
Kheb was discovered many years ago by a few Jaffa who learnt that it was a place where they could go to gain freedom from the Goa'uld. When their Prim'ta matures (Symbiote) they could shed their physical bodies and rather than dying without a symbiote, they could Ascend and join the Ancients. However, the Goa'ulds discovered the planet and went their themselves, but were did not return. When this happened, no-one was allowed to speak of the planet and it soon turned to a myth. When Sha're had her Harcesis child, she sent it to Kheb, where it could be safe from Apophis and his enemies. When Daniel Jackson went to Kheb to get the child, and protect it, he learnt that it the planet is home to the Ascended being, Oma Desala, but when she realised that Apophis would send many more troops to get his son back, she left the planet.
