The Hebridians at one point in time were enslaved by the Goa'ulds, however the Serrakins came, and helped them against their oppressors, and ever since then, the two races have lived in harmony. There are however, a few exceptions, who don't believe the Serrakins are their saviours, and who try to undermine the relation between the two races.
