A Major stationed at the Alpha Site, he helped the Tok'ra evacuees from the Risa system. When they learnt that an Ashrak was amidst them, Grier was paired with a Tok'ra and Jaffa and sent on patrol to try and find him. However, he was quickly killed by the invisible assailant.
