Colonel O'Neill and Lieutenant Tyler are ambushed by Goa'uld forces and trapped behind enemy lines, fighting a faction under an unknown System Lord. Meanwhile the rest of SG-1 return through the gate to fetch help. The problem is that when they get back no one else knows who Lieutenant Tyler is! Sam, Teal'c and Daniel are quarantined and General Hammond can't send anyone else back though the gate to rescue Jack in case they get infected. Colonel Simmons uses it as an excuse to question the rest of SG-1 and finds fault with General Hammonds running of the SGC. Meanwhile on the planet Jack is looking after Tyler who was injured and they are bonding while fighting off the Jaffa, turns out Tyler is part of an alien race, that can make others believe they are someone else, and due to this the Jaffa are after them. He tells Jack after seeing him risk his life for him, however he doesn't care if hes an Alien and still wants to help him. Dr Fraiser is able to find out about the chemical which causes the memories of the alien which allows Hammond to send a rescue mission.
Mistakes During Filming
- In the scene where Tyler lures the Jaffa away from the gate, the sounds the staff weapons and the zat gun makes is switched.
- Right after the scene where Lt. Tyler shoots Daniel with the zat gun, they show the briefing room in the SGC, if you look closely, you can see the studio lights on the ceiling in the gate room
- During the interviews that Simmons conducts, he forgot to take the Lens Cap off whilst he was taping the interviews. Though, it has pointed out that he was using a digital audio recorder and not a camera, and thus, has no lens cap to remove.</font
Teal'c: I am loyal to the Tau'ri
Simmons: Why should I believe you?
Teal'c: If I were still loyal to the Goa'uld, you would know it
Teal'c: It would be immediately apparent, as I would not hesitate to kill you where you sit
Daniel: This is a waste of time
Simmons: This isn't a waste of time. This is an official investigation.
Daniel: Oh, no, I mean, I get it. We obviously have Lt. Tyler issues. I say he exists, you say he doesn't.
Simmons: This isn't just about Lt. Tyler.
Daniel: Someone else doesn't exist?
O'Neill: Well, I wasn't gonna let you die, lieutenant. It's, like, a ton of paperwork
O'Neill: It's a joke. My way of deflecting the tension from my own obvious heroism. You'll get used to it.
Daniel recovers from a zat shot
O'Neill: Hey, where's Tyler?
Daniel: You know I would have asked him but I was too busy being unconscious after he shot me with that zat you gave him, so?
O'Neill: Do you know what the Goa'uld really want from us? Minnesota, that's what! For fishing mostly. I'll take you some time.
O'Neill: Oh yeah, ask Teal'c - he can't get enough!
