Synopsis
Plot
SG-10 become trapped on a planet while observing a black hole. The intense gravitation of the black hole is affecting the gate, and all of SGC, making time slow down, and they can't close the gate as the gate starts to draw power from the other side. When they realise that unless they shut the gate the planet would be destroyed, they decide to destroy the base and hope that it will destroy the gate and shut down the wormhole.
Bloopers
General Blooper
- Colonel Cromwell called a Senior Airman "Sergeant"
- SG team were wearing OD green uniforms to the planet, but since it was clearly a desert planet, they should have been wearing the desert camouflage.
Dialling Sequence Blooper
- When dialling to P3W-451, the computer displayed the coordinates to Chulak
Mistakes in the Script
- It took the MALP a long time to receive images from the Black Hole planet, however, it responded almost immediately to panning the camera up and down, which should have taken several seconds at least, and thus a few minutes.
Quotes
Cromwell: (under increased gravity) I feel like I've put on a hundred pounds! O'Neill: I wasn't gonna say anything.
O'Neill: (about Sam) Man, she's... Cromwell: ...way smarter than we are.
O'Neill: Well, we dialled it to a planet that's being sucked into a black hole. Very bad, very dangerous. Cromwell: Why is that? O'Neill: Things tend to get sucked in...
