Synopsis

Plot

Using the latent knowledge Carter has from her dead Tok'ra host, SG-1 go to find more of the Tok'ra to see if they want to become Earth's allies. The Tok'ra are a bit suspicious, can Carter help allay their concerns? Carter is also worried about her dad who's dying of cancer, and once with the Tok'ra she discovers why Martouf (one of the Tok'ra) seems so familiar.

General Blooper

• The Tok'ra keep saying that they are different than the Goa'uld because they have a purely symbiotic relationship with their hosts, but the actual definition of symbiotic is "A close, prolonged association between two or more different organisms of different species that may, but does not necessarily, benefit each member." So even though the relationship with the Goa'uld doesn't benefit both Goa'uld and human it does just as much fit the definition of a purely symbiotic relationship.
• Martouf and his Goa'uld seem very concerned about the death of Jolinar, but do not seem to care about the apparent death of Rocha, Jolinar's original host. This is inconsistent with a truly symbiotic relationship.

Mistakes in the Script

• SG-1 was wearing OD green uniforms to the Tok'ra planet but it was clearly a desert planet, they should have been wearing the desert camouflage
