Synopsis
Plot
With the ZPM powering the City of Atlantis, McKay is able to bring online sensors which tells him about an Ancient ship which has survived the war, and is currently on its way to Earth, however, at its current speed, it would take them far too long to get to the city. Weir authorises Sheppards team to go on the Daedalus and intercept the ship to try and find out about it. However, when they get there, they find a Wraith scout ship in the vicinity, and order it destroyed to maintain its cover. Onboard the Ancient ship Aurora, Sheppards team find that the ship is not deserted, and all the crew of the ship are in stasis. In an attempt to contact the Ancients, Sheppard is put into the Stasis so they can find out what happened. However, things don't turn well, when they discover that the crew believe the virtual environment IS the real reality, and do not believe Sheppards story. He is soon put into the brig, but learns that the ship is on its way to Atlantis with information about a weakness in the Wraith ships. He uses the ability to get in and out of the reality to escape the brig and reach the captain, however he is shot by the first officer and taken back to the brig. In the meantime, Teyla discovers that a Wraith has infiltrated the virtual environment. In an attempt to save Sheppard, McKay goes in to discover that the Wraith has taken the form of a crew member. They soon realise that its the First Officer. In an attempt to discover the Wraiths weakness, they realise that the Wraith has already deleted the information, and discover the only reason that the simulation is still running is the Wraith want the technology to travel faster than their current capabilities so that they can reach Earth, their new feeding ground. However, with two Wraith ships on their way, McKay and Sheppard must convince the captain before its too late.
