Synopsis
Plot
SG-1 return to Cimmeria to discover that the Heru'ur one of the Goa'uld System Lords has invaded the planet. They feel responsible as they destroyed "Thor's Hammer" which defended the planet from the Goa'uld by taking them to a labrynth where the Goa'uld within them was killed. Offering to help Sam and Daniel go with Gairwyn to look for the Hall of Thor's Might, there they discover a hologram of Thor who has various tests for them. Meanwhile Teal'c and O'Neill try guerilla warfare however, when they see the huge army of Heru'urs' they see that it would be too hard. However they are saved when Thor comes and saves them.
Bloopers
Mistakes in the Script
- Daniel read the runes wrongly, as the runes are read from right to left, unlike English which is read from left to right.
- Carter says, "Pi is the formula for finding the circumference of a circle by measuring the radius.". Pi is not actually a formula, but a constant which can be defined as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter of the circle
Inconsistency
- The area around the gate on Cimmeria had trees but in "Thor's Hammer", there were no trees. This is most likely due to a different filming location.
