[edit] Synopsis

[edit] Plot

Teal'c has a family, a wife and son that he left on Chulak when he joined SG-1. He was worried SGC wouldn't believe his loyalty was with them, when he first joined, if they knew he had a family, and so he kept them a secret. Now it is time for his son Rya'c to receive a Goa'uld larva, something Teal'c wants to prevent. SG-1 join him to try to capture a larva for study on Earth, and to stop Rya'c becoming a servant of the Goa'uld.

[edit] Bloopers

[edit] Inconsistency

    • When Teal'c is preparing to return to Chulak on his own, he has his Jaffa snake head helmet... which he left on Chulak in the "Children of the Gods" pilot episode

[edit] Quotes

Hammond: How many of these other jaffa can you be sure of?
O'Neill: We're pretty sure of at least...one guy.
Hammond: One?
Daniel: Yes, and, and where there's one there has to be more than...one
Hammond: Oh absolutely.
Bra'tac: You choose your friends well, Teal'c. Though were I a hundred years younger, it might not have been quite so easy.
O'Neill: You're over a hundred years old? God, I'm sorry
Bra'tac: (throwing Jack) A hundred and thirty three
O'Neill: You must work out
O'Neill: We'll cross that bridge when it comes to it
Bra'tac: No! The bridge is heavily guarded!
Bra'tac: Teal'c tells me your world is without gods. Difficult to imagine.
O'Neill: Well it's not without gods. A lot of people believe there's a God. Not everyone believes in the same God, the same way but...let's just say nobody believes in anyone with glowing eyes and a snake in his head.
Bra'tac: Then you serve no one?
O'Neill: I serve the SGC under a General Hammond.
Bra'tac: So this Hammond is...?
O'Neill: Just a man. A very good...very bald man. From Texas.
Preparing to grab a Goa'uld symbiote out of a tank
Carter: Okay, we can do this
Daniel: I'm ready
Carter: Okay. On three. One, two, three
Sam doesn't put her hand in
Daniel: Okay, on four
Carter: Four
