Synopsis
Plot
Daniel discovers that a post-war team succeeded in getting the Stargate to work and a young professor, Ernest Littlefield, actually travelled through the wormhole, but he didn't return. Joined by Catherine Langford, who originally recruited Daniel and was Ernest's fiancée, SG-1 go in search of Littlefield. When they find him they they realise he has made a remarkable discovery during his time alone.
Bloopers
General Blooper
- How did Dr. Littlefield survive on that planet if he'd been there since 1945? A supply of food and water can't last that long.
Dialing Sequence Blooper
- At the end when they were dialing back to the planet, the computer displayed the Abydos symbols
Mistakes in the Script
- When they are looking at the holograms of the various elements, Daniel incorrectly states that an atom can be determined by the number of electrons. What actually determines the atomic number is not the amount of electrons, but the amount of proton
Quotes
| O'Neill: Ernest was showing him a new toy. Carter: Really? What? O'Neill: Some fancy light show that may be a key our existence or something. |
