A religious race who believe that anyone that falls ill, becomes possessed by evil. The Christians of P9X-3971 live in constant fear from Sokar, a Goa'uld who has taken the persona of the Devil. As such, he sends UNAS to the planet, and sacrifices have to be made. Usually any sick are given to the Unas, however some kill themselves in an attempt to remove the evil by drilling a hole in their heads. SG1 were able to save the inhabitants of the planet, by telling them to bury the gate so the Unas that serve Sokar can no longer come through the gate.
