The Origin of the bugs is unknown, however what is known is that the bugs seek out humans to infest. Infested inhabitants soon become "incubators" of sorts, and the inhabitants DNA starts to change, and after the body has had enough time to change, it erupts releasing dozens of the bugs, who seek out more prey. The creatures are dangerous, although a cure has been developed to stop the venom of the bug from transforming the human into a bugs like itself.
