Lieutenant Astor was a member of SG-14, however during a mission, she was captured, and turned into a Za'tarc. Her memories of the incident were modified, and she was sent back to Earth.

When the Tok'ra used the Za'tarc detector to scan her memories, they discovered that she was a Za'tarc. In an attempt to save her, they tried to treat her, however, the Za'tarc programming caused her to break free and when kill herself.
