Aegir is the commander of the Asgard Mothership Valhalla. Thor contacted Aegir about the Replicator Ship which was making its way to Orilla, the new Asgard homeworld. Aegir managed to destroy the ships, although many chunks of the ship managed to make it to Orilla.
